Fitz knew Olivia just needed some time away. To just relax and try and forget everything. He charted a plane to Vermont, even had someone go and turn the heat on and get the place in Vermont ready for them. He sat on the plane checking the time. He knew she'd be there soon and they'd take off. He had a couple days off and he planned to spend it with her.

He relaxed pouring himself a drink, and a glass of wine for her. It would be waiting when she arrived on the plane.

Fitz was home alone, which was nice but at the same time? It was nerve-wracking. He needed someone, needed something to do. That's when his mind began to wander to Olivia. Things with mellie were finally finished, and things were dying down. Truth be told, he needed Olivia Pope in his life. He missed holding her, missed how she felt against him.

So he decided to call her, he could at least hear her voice right?
